Travel Log
July 2010- This was Colleen’s first time in Myrtle Beach. For Jimmy, it was a return visit to his favorite weekend get-a-away ( he was still in the Navy for his last visit). We rented a beach-side condo with Mickey, Russ and Ryan. We had a private pool and access to the public beach. We took in some of the tourist stuff including the Boardwalk, Broadway at the Beach, and Ripley’s Aquarium. Jimmy was shocked at the growth of the city (Colleen called it “Vegas at the Beach”). Our day trip was to Historical Charleston, SC. While there… we took in a very hot, but fun tour of the city. Click here for pictures.
