Newport News, VA

Newport News is an city in Virginia. It is at the southwestern end of the Virginia Peninsula, on the north shore of the James River. Newport News’s economy is mainly connected to the military and ship building/boating industry. It is also home to Christopher Newport University.

April 2007- Our first spring break trip in years! Taken during Easter Weekend, our trip was a mini-family vacation with the Foxes at Chris & Jill’s place in Newport News, Virginia. During our visit we took advantage of the many “Touristios” things to do including Colonial Williamsburg, Norfolk Naval Station and a special behind-the-scenes tour of the Aircraft Carrier, USS Enterprise.
